Dr. Florian Brahms was admitted to the German Federal Bar (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer, BRAK) in 2011 and is a partner at BRAHMS NEBEL & KOLLEGEN in Hamburg. Dr. Brahms advises on decentralised energy concepts in the areas of electricity and heat using renewable energies, electricity storage, hydrogen and electromobility. Many years of experience and a broad network of practical experience guarantee sustainable advice in the planning, project management and implementation of sustainable energy projects. One focus is on the structuring and support of joint ventures between project developers, public utilities, property owners and municipalities.

Dr. Brahms also advises on various projects in the areas of photovoltaics, biogas and wind energy. Initially, the focus of his advice was on the area of subsidies under the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and the Combined Heat and Power Act (KWKG), but with increasing professional experience, he also extended to civil building law in the context of project planning and construction of energy plants. Marketing and supply contracts (PPAs, direct marketing contracts and heat supply contracts) are also regular subjects of his advice. In addition, Dr Brahms regularly publishes articles in the relevant specialist and commentary literature and holds seminars and lectures at relevant specialist events.
